These boards are 13.5 inches top to bottom including the handle, 7 inches wide and .75 inches thick. They're sturdy and meant to LAST! The engraving comes out as a nice tone-on-tone brown.
To care for your cutting board please use warm water and mild soap with a non-abrasive washing cloth, never soaking the cutting board in standing water. Periodically you should use butcher block oil that is sold commercially in many stores, and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
